Meet Missy
Hello -
While still in college I began teaching ASL at Mesa Community College in Arizona. Since then I have not stopped. A 1-year tour with the National Theater of the Deaf (NTD) sharpened my translation and storytelling skills and I continue to use that experience in my daily teaching.
My greatest and most enjoyable challenge is to teach my 3 daughters who are 12, 10, and 4 years old. They are all hearing and each has their own style and approach to ASL.
My students range in age from toddlers through high school, college, and beyond. Even grandparents. They all have the same need. To communicate in ASL.
I still get excited when I see a former student on stage interpreting, in a classroom teaching or simply signing with a friend.
As an entrepreneur I am able to reach a much wider audience. Numerous schools in the United States and Canada have hundreds of students logging in daily to my online curriculum to complete their ASL lessons.
This website is designed for you - to help you reach your ASL goals anytime and anywhere.
I am available to teach workshops and speak at your next event.
Please let me know how I can help.
Thank you,
Missy
